Diane was born April 22, 1945, in Cedar Rapids to Dale and Marie (Thayer) Dickey.
Survivors are: husband, Kenneth Bogner; daughters and sons-in-law, Kristy and Dan Middleton of Grand Island and Marcy and Chris Hess of Lee-Summit, Mo.; sons and daughter-in-law, Tim Bogner of Grand Island and Todd and Becky Bogner of Grand Island; her mother, Marie Dickey of St. Edward; brother and sister-in-law, John and Deb Dickey of Cedar Rapids; and sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Bill Dobson of Primrose; grandchildren, Blade, Alicia, Isabella, Christian, Coebin and Kenley.
Her father; grandparents, Blaine and Minnie Dickey; and aunt, Margie Seamann welcomed her into heaven.
Diane was raised on a family farm near Cedar Rapids.
She graduated from Cedar Rapids High School, Class of 1962.
On Nov. 9, 1963, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Bogner at St. Mary's Cathedral in Grand Island. They made their home in Grand Island.
Because of Diane's love for children, she babysat for many children over the years.
She enjoyed being a homemaker taking care of her family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening.
Diane was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and would attend the United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids with her mother.
Burial was in Dublin Cemetery, Primrose, NE.
