George Robert Black drowned in the South Leon river near Swan Hill in Comanche County, TX. George Served in the 63rd Georgia Volunteer Regiment of the Confederate Army starting a Lieutenant and mustering out as Lieutenant Colonel. After his wife Abigail's death George married her sister Keziah.
