He had lived in Veedersburg for 60 years. He retired from Harrison Steel Casting Co. Attica in 1977. He had owned his own trucking business since 1975. He attended the Nazarene Church in Veedersburg.
Surviving are: two sons, Paul, Buffalo Grove, Ill.; Charles Veedersburg; one daughter, Mary Jane Dickson, Mundelein Ill, and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, his parents and a half brother.
Funeral services will be at the Veedersburg Nazarene Church at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Edwin Retter officiating, Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery.
