George T. Ritchey, 71, died Friday at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. He had been a resident of the Upper County all his life.

He was born October 29, 1904. He was married to Angie Rossine on June 1, 1927 in Ellensburg. Ritchey was a carpenter and formerly a miner. He was a member of St. Thomas Masonic Lodge No. 54 of Roslyn.

Survivors include his wife Angie of Cle Elum; one daughter, Mrs. Jo Klarich of Granger, three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lorene Davis of Chimacum and Audrey Evans of Everett; a brother, Frank Ritchey of Concrete.

Services Monday, 2 p.m., at Holy Nativity Episcopal Church in Cle Elum, the Rev. Woodrow Epp officiating. Masonic graveside services at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
