SERVICES CONDUCTED FOR W.D. HOLLENBACK
Services for W. D. Hollenback, who died Monday, were held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Jess Rindt chapel with Dr. Frederick Maler officiating. Music was by Mrs. Clifford Shanks and Mrs. Max Shanks, vocalists, and Mrs. Willard Moncrief, organist.
Casket bearers included Clarence E. Lindly, Robert Bartlett, Edward Raasch, L. R. Lyon, Mas Shanks, and Warren Hamm. Honorary bearers included Melvin Trenary, Reuben Pierce, Dan Blass, R. R. Conard, Gordon Stewart, Lester Feist, Gay Thompson, Hugh Stickler, Walter Fletcher, Lester Peters, Harold Shultz, John Kingson, Earl Harrison, Clifford Maze.
Masonic rites were conferred by Cresent Lodge 133, A.F. & A.M. with Harry I. Burnett, acting as master. Harold Johnson, marshal, and Lloyd E. Frye, light bearer. Burial was in the American Legion plot at Riverview cemetery where full military rites were conferred by Shelton-Beatty Post 18, with George Brill acting as commander. Bill Gragg assisted in folding the flag which was presented by Bill. Legion color bearers were Roy White and C. I. Timmons, VFW color bearers were Harold Turner and Bill Mercer; buglers, Bill Ohlhausen and Carl Fesler; firing squad included Capt Loy Shanks, Sgt. Blaine Honeycutt, Sgt. Bruce Bradley, Sgt. Eldon Roberts, Spc 3c, Johnny Murrillio and Spc 3c, Mills.
