Ernestine Lesko Murphy, 80, of Pine Island died Wednesday, January 8. Born in Preston, Cuba, she moved with her family to Fort Myers in 1933.
In addition to her devoted husband, James Murphy, she is survived by her daughters, Alice Doll and her husband, Buddy, Madelene Elmquist and husband, Allen, Michelle Walsh; son Michael Lesko and wife, Connie. She adored her grandchildren, Buddy and Ann Doll, Stephen and Mary Lee Doll, Patty and Joe Duffy, Amanda Lesko, Michael and Jennifer Lesko, Joey and Dale Elmquist, Christopher and Mark Gossett and her six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 11, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Coral Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Allene Topham officiating. Burial will follow in Coral Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 - 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday.
