Passes at Home of his Daughter Mrs. Fay Gordon at Tucson, Arizona; Burial at Foster, this County
A message received here Friday evening, Jan 18th, announced the death of Noah Caton, Sr., which took place at the home of his daughter Mrs. Fay Gordon in Tucson, Arizona. He was 79 years of age, and had been in declining health since the death of his wife, who passed away some five years ago. Mr. Caton was a pioneer citizen, having spent the greater part of his life in Bates county. He was born, however in Vernon county at a period before Vernon and Bates county were divided into two separate counties. He was an excellent citizen, widely known and highly respected, and had a large circle of friends. He also was a member of the I. O. O. F. lodge.
Mr. Caton left here September last to visit relatives in Oklahoma and Arizona. Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Fay Gordon of Tucson, Ariz, a son Noah Caton, Jr., of the home in Howard township Bates county, two sisters; Mrs. John Gordon and Mrs. Robert Allen of Leedy, Oklahoma; and a brother John Caton, of Tulsa, Okla.
The body will be brought to Foster this county for burial in the Caton family lot.

THE CATON FUNERAL AT 10 A.M. WEDNESDAY
On account of the impassable condition of the roads, funeral services for Noah Caton, Sr., were postponed from 2 o'clock Tuesday to 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at Foster, conducted by Rev. Bingham. Burial at Foster. The body was taken to Butler thence over the Interstate line to Foster for interment.
