Wade L. Stever, 78, Defiance County engineer from 1947 to 1965, died Friday in the
Defiance City Hospital. He was a civil engineer for 49 years, retiring in 1965. Mr.
Stever was a member of the Defiance County Fish & Game Association, St. Paul's Methodist
Church and several engineering societies. Surviving are the widow, Gladys; a son,
Leonard, of Defiance, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday
in the Mast & Mock Funeral Home, with Burial in Riverside Cemetery. – The Bryan Times,
