Phoebe was the daughter of William & Mary (Harris) Spillers.

She was the widow of Samuel B. Starke.

She was living with her son, James, at 2101 South Washington in Sedalia when she died at 6:25 p.m. on Feb. 26, 1946, from a Coronary Occlusion, which was due to Arteriosclerosis. She had lived 90 years, 9 months, & 27 days.

A note, made on her death certificate, indicated that she had lived in the community 21 years. She would have moved there about one year after her husband died.

Her son, James, was the informant on her death certificate. She was buried beside her husband on Feb. 28.
