Services at the Holland Methodist church in Holland for Amos H. Katterjohn, 66, a retired harness maker. Rev. Lloyd Shannon will officiate. Burial will be in the Methodist cemetery. Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg.
Amos Katterjohn was born in Pike county, near Zoar, on Jan. 29, 1890, the son of Henry William and Louise Steinkamp Katterjohn.
He began working at the harness trade when young, and worked in various southern Indiana, Illinois and Missouri towns, finally going to Holland where he worked as a harness maker for many years.
He served in the Army during World War I, and was a member of Harmeyer Post, American Legion, at Holland, and also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Edward Hemmer, Mrs. E. R. Cole and Mrs. O. E. Tischendorf.
