Geraldine "Jerry" Ayer, daughter of Grant and Luella (Kelly) Roach, was born July 27, 1904, in Milan, Mo., and died Sunday, May 30, 1993.
She was united in marriage to Lee Roy Ayer on August 5, 1924, in Kirksville, Mo. He preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; five sisters; and one brother.
Surviving are nieces and nephews, including Mary and Gaylon Fanning and sons Steven and Mark.
She was a member of Lancaster Christian Church. She was a member of Royal Neighbors and Rebekah Lodge of Lancaster.
Services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 1993, at 1:30 p.m. in Norman Funeral Chapel, Lancaster, with the Rev. John Robinson officiating. Music will be provided by Jane Watkins, organist. Special selections will be "I Won't Have To Cross Jordan Alone" and "End Of a Perfect Day."
Bearers will be Floyd Manning, James Murphy, Richard Roach, Ronnie Roach, Ray Ford, and Mark Fanning.
Burial will be in Arni Memorial Cemetery, Lancaster.
