Robert, age 57, of Watertown, passed away on Tuesday at Watertown Regional Medical Center. Bob was born the son of Robert W. & Anna (Bucholtz) Lueck. He was a 1970 graduate of Watertown High School and a 1974 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. On Dec. 9, 1988, he married the former Sharry McElhanon at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Bob had been employed by several area car dealerships for over 20 years. He started Watertown Trophy and Awards which he operated part time for several years, until selling the business. He had also owned Paper Chain Party Supply. He was a funeral pre-planner for Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam from 1999-2008. Bob was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and Copper Creek Hunting Club. He served the community as chairman of the Watertown Fourth of July Parade for 26 years. He had also been active with the Watertown Christmas Parade since 2003. He was a past president of the Watertown Jaycees, past president of the Watertown Commercial Bowling League and past treasurer of the Miss Watertown Beauty Pageant. Bob had been the honorary marshal of the 2009 Fourth of July Parade and he had the Main Street Bridge named in his honor in 2009. He had received a citation from the Wisconsin Legislature for 25 years of community service. Survivors include his wife Sharry; his stepchildren, Chad (Jody) Herbert of Janesville, WI and Chet Herbert of La Crosse, WI; grandchildren, Connor and Brynn Herbert; his sister, Marcy (Ken) Stanczyk of Plymouth; two nieces, Stephanie and Elizabeth Stanczyk; two sisters-in-law, Dawn Justman and Donna Arnold; cousins; his grand dog, Fritz; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held at St. Bernard's Catholic Church with Father Brian Wilk officiating.
