On Tuesday, 21st of February, Mr and Mrs Thomas DeMoss lost their only child, Minnie, the the 14th year of her age. She had been an invalid and at times a great sufferer for several years. Her funeral was conducted by Rev George R McCready at Sandy Mount church on the 22nd. Interment in the church cemetery.
