He came to Greenwood county, Kansas, in 1873. He had four sisters and one brother, all of whom have passed away, and his marks the last of his family.
Mr. Beedles was a prosperous farmer and highly respected citizen. He lived for years on a farm in Otter Creek township, but recently removed to Eureka, which was his home at the time of his death, February 19, 1925.
He was married to Jennie Hill December 12, 1886, and to them were born six children, all of whom, with his wife, survive him. They are Harold, Glen, Walter, Ralph, Florence, and Bert. All but Walter, who lives in California, were present the last hours, as all live still in Greenwood county.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 21, at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church. Rev. Geo. M. Bolcourt officiating. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.
