Mrs W A Norris' funeral to be held at 2:30 oclock
Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Norris, 66, wife of WA Norris will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 at the home 305 College Avenue. The Rev Marion N Waldrip, assisted by the Rev. Luther Wesley Smith, will conduct the services. Burial will take place in the Columbia Cemetery.
Mrs. Norris was born at Woodlandville on Aug 17, 1862 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noah Beasley, pioneer residents of Boone County. She moved to Columbia 36 years ago. Mrs. Norris was a member of the Broadway Methodist church and belonged to the local chapter of the WCTU. She had been ill in health for the last 4 months, and was confined to her bed.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter; Mrs. ST Simpson, two grandchildren, and a sister; Mrs. SB Searcy.
The pallbearers were as follows: EB McDonnell, Prof BF Hoffman, Dr James Gordon, NW Burton, Foster Thurston, and JM Taylor.
