Mrs. Nancy Seviah Hull, a resident of the Carlton area for many years, died Sunday at the age of 94 years. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in Scott's Funeral chapel.
Mrs. Hull was born June 22, 1863 near Tenino, Wash., the daughter of Elizabeth and Joel Ticknor, pioneers in Washington state. In 1881, she was married to Randolph Wardle. She was baptized in the Yamhill river near Carlton in 1882 by the pastor of the Carlton Baptist church.
Surviving Mrs. Hull are a son, Clarence Wardle of Carlton; five grandchildren, including Lt. Col. Clarence Wardle, Jr., Pacific Grove, Calif., and Lt. Col. John H. Wardle, US Air Force, Japan; four sisters, Nettie Davis, Hester Wahlen and Edith Pinger, all of Tenino, and Blanche Smith of Seattle, Wash.; seven great grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. S.J. Osborne. Private interment will be at McBride cemetery, Carlton.
