Father of George W., Sarah Gemima, Emily Caroline, Amanda Frances, David Vinson, Varden, Nancy Elizabeth, Mary Melinda, James, Ruthie Matilda, and Georgia Ann.

Ambrose and Elizabeth were buried in the Cooper Family Cemetery. When the rock dump from Bradford Mines was about to cover the graves, they were moved to another part of the Cooper land, which was later sold to the county. Timber was cut, the tombstones destroyed and the location of the graves is lost. The Kermit-Johnson School was built there.
