(special thanks to Jimmy Hunt #47234375 for the following info) James Carlise Kilby was married before his marriage with Laura Hollingsworth. He had one daughter by this first wife. First wife's maiden name is unknown, possibly Banks. The daughter was Minnie Ruth Kilby who married a Mr. Roach. Minnie was not listed in James' (her father) obituary in 1923. She was listed in Laura's 1936 obituary as a step daughter. A Granddaughter, Doris Black Fisher, who is still living recalls her mom had a half sister and that her mom was kin to the Banks family although she didn't know how.
