Harold F. "Judge" Morrell, age 74, Fulton, died March 31, 2002 at Fort Scott Mercy Hospital.

He was born May 11, 1927 at Barnesville, the son of Clarence and Ferne Bishop Morrell.

He married Goldie Joy Dawson May 25, 1950 at Fort Scott, and she preceded him in death Aug. 4, 1984. He married Mary LaVerne McIntyre Holmes April 11, 1985 at Pittsburg, and she preceded him in death July 6, 1996.

In addition to his wives, he was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Kevin Morrell and David Morrell; and one brother, Ralph Morrell.

Survivors include one son, Steve Morrell, of Fort Scott; two daughters, Linda Mishler of Buhler, Lisa Kohley of Liberal, Mo.; one step-son, John Holmes of Weir; two step-daughters, Marilyn Hodgson of Brandon, Fla., Carolyn Johnson of Pittsburg; two brothers, Lloyd Morrell of Elmira, Ore., Kenneth Morrell of Santa Ana, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Verl Strong will conduct graveside services at the Barnesville Cemetery, near Fulton.
