Mrs. Hattie Carnal Dies at Douthat

DOUTHAT, Feb. 12 - Mrs. Hattie Carnal, 42 years old, died at 6:30 o'clock Friday evening at her home in Douthat. She is survived by her husband, S.M. Carnal; two sons, Earl and Willis, of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Edith Macon of Chickasha, Mrs. Clara Fish of Baxter Springs, Kas., and Grace Elsie Carnal of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs, A.A. Thomas of Commerce; two brothers, Ed Thomas of Chetopa, Kas., and Burnie Thomas of Commerce, and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Jones and Mrs. Anna Doty, both of Commerce.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the Baptist church at Douthat, in charge of the Salvation Army of Picher. Burial will be in the Miami cemetery under the director of the Hal Mitchelson Funeral Company.
