Private graveside services for Mary Elizabeth Anderson Leonard, 82, Sulphur, were December 4 with Reverend Charles Cropper officiating. Memorial services will be December 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church, Sulphur. Interment was at Oaklawn Cemetery, Sulphur, with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Leonard was born March 22, 1908 at Sulphur and died December 1 at Sulphur. She taught school for 35 years and was a member and elder in Presbyterian Church,
She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star and Order of the Amaranth, Ada Court.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Carol Gilbert, Norman; a sister, Lois Hensley, Sulphur, a brother, Ted Anderson, Edmond, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. One daughter, Judith Gilbert, preceded her in death in 1980.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests sending a memorial to Shepherd of The Hills Presbyterian Church.
