LAURA VIRGINIA MILLER, 86, of Colorado Springs died Tuesday at a local health care center. She had been a homemaker.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Shrine of Rest Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. Services will be at noon Friday at Vista Grande Baptist Church, 5075 Flintridge Drive, with the Rev. Gary Christopherson and Deacon James Whittle officiating. Entombment will be at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.

Mrs. Miller was born May 8, 1903, in Baltimore, to George and Laura V. (Stansbury) Yeagle . She had lived in Colorado Springs since 1974. Mrs. Miller was a member of Vista Grande Baptist Church.

She was married in Baltimore, to John H. Miller, who died in 1970.

Mrs. Miller is survived by four daughters, Lois V. Robey of Vicksburg, Miss., Nancy L. Munch of Shrewsbury, Pa., Doris E. Skirka of Colorado Springs and Shirley E. Hoopert of Baltimore; a sister, Irene Willett of Baltimore; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters (and her first husband Levi Ralph Sterner who died in 1934).
