HAMPTON, Sept. 25 - George J. Franks, 71, died Friday at a Hampton hospital.
He was a crane operator for Southern Railway.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Katherine A. Williams; three stepsons, Joseph, Earl and Russell Atkinson, all of Richmond, and seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m., Tuesday at Giroski Funeral Home, Farrell, Pa., with burial in St. Ann's Cemetery here.
