In Memory of Mrs. Icy Owen Terry

On April the 19 1923 fifteen minutes after five o'clock , The death angels took our Dear Loving Mother and oh how lonely life is without her loving care. Dear Mother's place can never be filled for there is no one like a mother or father when they are gone you have lost your best friend. It was hard to give up Darling Mother but God knows best. She is at rest in the arms of our dear Loving Savior where we hope to meet her some sweet day when there will be no sad farewells.

Her body was laid to rest in the Owens Cemetery.

Some of the words written by a family member expressing the sadness at the loss of Mrs. Terry. (thought to be her son)
