Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Dukes-Harley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. W. W. Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Lyons was born in the Bolen Community, a daughter of the late John and Mary Brandenburg Bolen. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was a chief operator at the Southern Bell Telephone Co., here until she retired several years ago. Mrs Lyons was twice married. Her first husband was Robert M. Bonnett, who died in 1952.
She is survived by her husband, George W. Lyons of Orangeburg; one sister, Miss Ruth Bolen of Columbia; one brother, Ben Bolen of Summerville, and step-children, Mrs. H. N. Kinard of Smoaks, Woodrow W. Lyons of Orangeburg, Clyde R. Lyons of Creston, Miss Irma Lyons of Charleston, Hubert Lyons of Susquehanna, Pa., and Mrs. Gladys Alch of Minneapolis, Minn. Also a number of nieces and nephews.
