After the War, they returned to Oklahoma where Pearl operated a home-based small business. She joined the Oklahoma Tax Commission in 1968 as a junior revenue officer and retired in 1978 when she turned 65. She was a long-time member of the First Christian Church in Yukon.
Pearl was a Regent of the Council Grove Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and was a DAR liaison to the Disabled American Veterans of Oklahoma. She was a member of the William Rives Chapter, National Society Colonial Dames XVII Century and the Hathaway and Henckel Family Associations.
