J Richins Adams, 80, died November 8, 2009 at his home in American Fork surrounded by his family. Born November 2, 1929 in American Fork, Utah the son of James and Hazel Martha Richins Adams. He married Marleene Hardy May 15, 1952 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. JR worked for Tooele Army Depot as a mechanic. He was an active member of the LDS Church serving in many callings. He was an active scouter who recieved the Second Miler Award. JR was everybody's handyman. Dad, we love you and will miss you. Survivors include his wife, Marleene; children: Cindy (Lynn) Johnson; J'Lene (Dell) Willes; Clay (Shaurna) Adams; James (Nancy) Adams; Brad Adams; Teena (Darcy) Allan; Glen (Rachelle) Adams; Dean Adams; 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. JR is preceded in death by his parents, 6 sisters and 3 brothers. Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork 11th Ward, 260 South Center Street. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, and prior to the services from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery.
