Marvel Burnside 1925 ~ 2006

Marvel Eastin Burnside, passed away Dec. 17, 2006 in Ashton, ID.

Marvel was born to Virgil and Bertha Eastin July 8, 1925.

She met Harry Burnside and was married Dec. 22, 1973.

They lived in Blanding, Utah for a year and moved to Mt. Pleasant, UT where they made their home, loved their neighbors, and spent time fishing.

Marvel made a lot of quilts to keep everyone warm and always had a good garden, to keep us full.

Marvel was happiest when she could help others, and loved the LDS church.

She served a mission in Lodgegrass, MT. along with her husband Harry.

Her dedication to genealogy research was astounding, and had it put into a book.

Marvel is survived by her son, Larry E. (Barbara) Darby; step-children, Larry (Marjorie) Burnside, Joan (Robert) Holser, Jean (LaVon) Johnson, Marieanne (Tim) Sample, also, Aurther Randles and his sister Mary Perkins; sister Phyllis Merlene Hendricks, sisters-in-law, Grace and Catherine Eastin.

Preceded in death by her husband Harry Burnside, brothers Byron and Jesse Eastin.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday December 21, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant LDS 5th Ward Chapel (55 S. State).

A viewing will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to services at the church.

Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery under the care of Rasmussen Mortuary.
