Mr. Smithgall, of Perry, NY was a son of Frank & Gertrude Eder Smithgall. Mr. Smithga;; owned and operated his own dairy farm called Old Acres Fram in Perry until his retirement in 1992. He was a WW II veteran of the Navy, where he was in the Seebees.
Survivors include his wife, C. Marie Fisher Smithgall, whom he married Oct. 17, 1953; 3 sons, Thomas (Corrine) Smithgall, Steven Smithgall and David (Mindy) Smithgall; 2 daughters, Karen (Don) Wyatt and Linda (Dave) Elliot; a brother, James Smithgall; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
he was predeceased by his brothers, Herman, Glen and William Smithgall.
