Ida Estabrook
Mrs. Ida ESTABROOK, 87, died at 4:55 a.m. today on her birthday, at her home two miles south of Rochester on U. S. 31. She had been ill two weeks.
Born Dec. 9, 1863, near Denver, she was the daughter of Elisha and Sarah MILLER and was a member of the Mexico Brethren church since 1880.
She moved to Rochester township in 1901. Her husband, Jerry ESTABROOK, whom she married Sept. 27, 1888, preceded her in death Nov. 6, 1940.
Survivors include three sons, Floyd [ESTABROOK], Dowagiac, Mich., Hamilton [ESTABROOK], of Chisholm, Minn., and Warren [ESTABROOK], of Minneapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Florence NEEDLES, Warsaw, and Mrs. Sadie BAKER, route, Rochester; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; a sister, Emma BRUBAKER, Flora; a brother, Martin [MILLER], of Mulberry.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Foster funeral home. The Rev. Howard FLORA will officiate and burial will be in the IOOF cemetery here.
Friends may call at the residence from Sunday noon until Monday noon, when the body will be taken to the funeral home.
