Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Humphreys Carter, wife of Carl C. Carter, are being held form the residence at Stuarts Draft this afternoon. Interment is to be in the Calvary Methodist Church cemetery.
Mrs. Carter died at her home yesterday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock after an illness of several months.
She is survived by her husband, and two daughters, Betty and Joyce; also her mother, Mrs. Minnie L. Humphreys, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Rex Balsley, Stuarts Draft; Mrs. Maurice McNair, Staunton; Misses Helen and Edith Humphreys, Stuarts Draft; Harry E. Humphreys, Roanoke; William Humphreys, Staunton; and Joseph Humphreys, Lynchburg.
