Abner Lapp, Retired
Farmer, Called Away
Abner Lapp, aged 72, died at his home in Wills Creek at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon following an extended illness from liver trouble. He had been confined to his bed for two weeks and previous to that time his health had failed rapidly. Mr Lapp was a retired farmer. He was born on the farm he owned at the time of his death, bear Wills Creek and resided there all of his life until two years ago when he moved to Wills Creek. He is survived by his wife and the following children: James of the home farm; Clarence of Muskingum County; George, Charles and Bruce of Wills Creek, Mrs Agnes Sturtz of Coshocton, Mrs William Hendricks of Franklin Township and Mrs Bert Wilcox of Adams Township. Mr Lapp was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and the funeral services will be held at that church, altho no definite time has been set for the service owing to the high water. The undertaker had to wade through water to get to the house, because the home was situated near Wills Creek.
