Rev. Dana Fox was the son of Moses and Caroline (Mack) Fox. Jane (Strong) Fox was his 1st wife. They were married April 24, 1824 and she died August 18, 1861. Harriet Strong Fox was his 2nd wife. They were married Jackson Co., Michigan October 19, 1862. He was a minister in the Genesee (now Western New York) Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He was received on trial in 1818, admitted into full membership in 1820 and located in 1826. He served Herkimer (NY) Oneida District in 1820. He later became a Local Preacher in the Kansas-Nebraska Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
