BOYD - James Adler Boston, 63, a machinist, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at home.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church no. 1 in Wise County. Burial: Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation: 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Coker Funeral Home.


James Adler Boston was born April 28, 1936, in Durant, Okla. He was a dedicated deacon at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church no. 1. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandpa and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Boston.

Survivors: Wife, Joann of Boyd; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Darlene Boston, Rick and Barbara Boston, Robert Boston and Roddy and Susanne Boston; sister, Dora Bell Duncan of Durant; grandchildren, James Earl and his wife, Angela, Bobby Wayne, Stephanie Michelle, Dalton Cole, James Andrew, Joshua Drue, John Harvey and Caitlyn Elizabeth; and great-grandchildren, Zander and Garvin Boston.
