Services were Tuesday, Jan. 19 at Fundamental Baptist Church in Decatur for Charley Fred Anderson, 64, of Decatur. The Rev. J.A. Smith and Dr. Wilbur Simmons officiated. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers were nephews. Honorary pallbearers were J.D. Stutt, Shorty Brandon, Buck Young, M. E. "Tuffy" McDaniel and Bill Bridges.

Anderson, born April 15, 1920 in Fort Worth, married Ima Lee Albritton, April 26, 1957 in Bridgeport. The World War II Army veteran was preceded in death by a brother, Aubrey Anderson.

Other survivors include: sons Robert and Paul Anderson and Larry Moore of Decatur; daughters Shella Ford of Azle and Lisa Anderson of Decatur; brothers Sam, Luther, Eddie and Bill Anderson of Decatur and Rance Anderson of Fort Worth; sister Mary Boydston of Greenwood; six grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

Coker Funeral Home in Decatur made arrangements.
