MRS. S.E. CARTER DIES
Mrs. Sabra Eran Carter, 82 year-old, native and life-long resident of Wade, died at her home Sunday at 4:30 a.m.
She is survived by her husband, Milt Carter of Wade; eight children, Mrs. Bessie Taylor of Vancleave, Mrs. Addie Johnson of Wade, W.C. Carter of Lucedale, H.C. Carter and C.C. Carter of Port Gibson, Joseph Carter, G.C. Carter and Ford Carter of Wade; 25 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Cowart, of Lucedale, and Mrs. Adlene Crenshaw of Mobile.
Mrs. Carter was a life long member of the Salem Methodist Church. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon with services by Rev. E.S. Byrd, Methodist pastor of Escatawpa, and Rev. Alford of Moss Point, officiating, Interment was in the Johnson Cemetery in Wade.
