Phyllis Webb Francom Christensen, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at her home. She fought a good fight and won. She resided at 325 South 200 East in Nephi, Utah at the time of her death.


She was born August 24, 1919 in Levan, Utah to John Leonard and Dulcie May Webb Francom.


She married Leo Walter Christensen on April 8, 1940 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died August 2, 1983.


She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in many leadership calling. With just six piano lessons she became the organist in the Manti Temple, where she served for twenty-two years. All of her family was privileged to have known her and be loved by her.


Survived by her children, Michael (Dorothy) Christensen; Kathy (Lee) Brumley; David (Marsha) Christensen; Patrece (Brent) Aagard; fifteen grandchildren; forty-eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Brotherson; brother, Alan (Connie) Francom. Preceded in death by her husband, Leo; brother, Paul Francom; sister, Beth Tolley.


Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2009 in the Nephi Second Ward Chapel, 222 South 100 East. Family and friends may call on Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, and at the Church one hour prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Levan Cemetery.
