John F. Seward, 83, of Keller, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 1998, in Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. He was born Oct. 13, 1914, in Malo, Wash., to Jess and Ida (O'Brien) Seward. He was a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes and the Catholic Church.

He worked in construction as a heavy duty mechanic and was a member of the Local 370, Operating Engineers of Spokane.

Survivors include his wife, one daughter, one brother and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Pichette Seward; his children, Franklin, Jan and Barbara; sisters, Leone and Mable; and brothers, Jim and Andy Disautel and Robert Seward.
