James F. Davey Passes away at home
Funeral services for James Francis Davey, 78, were held in Sherrod's Chapel, Wed. afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Mr Davey passed away at his home between Bangor and Breedsville , Sunday night after a week's illness. He was born Sept. 14, 1862 in Warsaw, Indiana, the son of Mr & Mrs James Davey. He was married to Nancy Bower of Columbia, April 8, 1886.
In 1895, they moved to Benton Harbor, where Mr Davey was in business for many years. In 1923 they built a new home on their farm near Breedsville and came there to live. Their one son, Willard passed away in 1923.
Mr Davey is survived by his widow, several nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. F. Werner of Church of God, St. Joseph. Burial was in Arlington Hill cemetery.

at 2 o'clock. He was 'bora near Warsaw, Ind., Sept. 14, 1862, the son of James and Hannah Davey. On April 8, 1886, he was married to Nancy Bower, of Columbia township.
With the exception of a few years residence in Benton Harbor, where he was engaged in business, their home has been here since. She is the only immediate survivor. Their only son, Wlllard, died In 1923. Burial was in Arlington Hill cemetery.
