Cordelia Jane Cooper, 83, of Denton, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at her residence. She was born on October 7, 1925 in Marland, OK to George Washington Levings and Alice Victoria (Skinner) Levings. She loved being around her family and enjoyed fishing.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2009 from 6 – 8 p.m., at Denton Funeral Home. A graveside service will be on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 10 a.m., at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Denton.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry and wife, Nancy Cooper of Sanger, and Charles and wife, Jeanne Cooper of Krum; daughters, Carolyn Sue Maston of Dallas, and Cindy and husband, Dan Welch of Denton; twenty grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services are under the direction of Denton Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
