Boyd~Billy Floyd Hunt, 83, a retired security guard went to be with our Lord Monday, February 7, 2011 in Fort Worth.

Funeral is 2 PM Friday at Christian Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Boyd with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Chaplain Paul Kuegele will officiate.

Billy was born November 21, 1927 to Lee and Ethel (Boiles) Hunt in Boyd. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Billy worked as a security guard for Pinkerton Security until he retired. Since 1970, he has been a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 20. Billy was also a lifetime member of the Fort Worth Treasure Hunters Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margaret; and his son Jackie

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his many friends.

Billy's friends and organizations will gather at Dos Chiles in Boyd from 4 to 5 PM on Friday after the service.
