He is surviced by his wife Verona Helen Thomas and five sons; Luther of Columbia Maryland, Johnnie of San Francisco California, Arthur of Chesapeake Virginia, Randolph of Fort Lee Virginia and Rudolph of Lome Toygo Africa; two sisters, six brothers and a host of relatives and friends. Burial followed the funeral in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, Virginia.
