Born in Buckhorn, Texas, on July 4, 1924, Edward went on to serve in the US Army in Italy as a member of the Corps of Engineers during WWII.
He was married to Martha Baranowski for 60 years and retired from Kroger.
Edward is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Delores and Michael Chambers; grandson Clay, and a sister, Rose Reisner.
He was preceded in death by his wife Martha, brothers Frank, Steve, Taylor, Tony, and Charlie and sisters, Lillie Hintzel, Virgie Fitt, and Johanna Barrett.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 5 from 6-8 pm at Waltrip Funeral Directors.
The Funeral Liturgy will be Friday, November 6 at 1 pm at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 8825 Kempwood. Rite of Committal will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
