Roann, Dec. 22 -- The death of Mrs. Winifred McClure occurred Tuesday evening at 5:15 o'clock in her home four miles southwest of Roann after an illness of seven weeks.
Mrs. McClure, a former music teacher, was born in Iowa, Feb. 28, 1880 to George and Elvira (Lewis) Furrow. She was married to Frank McClure May 17, 1917 in Chicago and has lived in the Roann community for the past 25 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Wabash.
Surviving are the husband, one daughter, Mary, at home; a brother, J.F. Furrow, California; and two sisters, Mrs. Neil Richard, Nebraska, and Mrs. Edith Cater who made her home with the McClures.
The body has been taken to the Grandstaff Funeral home where it will remain for services Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. The Rev. Robert C. Collins will officiate and #burial will be in Falls cemetery, Wabash.
