HORACE MOORE
Horace L. Moore, 56, of 2805 N Hudson, died Wednesday at an Edmond nursing home after a long illness. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Baggerley Funeral Chapel with burial in Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond.
Born in Lee City, Miss., Moore came to Oklahoma City in 1948. He was an employee of the State Board of Affairs, a veteran of World War II, and member of the American Legion. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, James W., Houston, and daughter, Mrs. Cheryl Bray, Oklahoma City; four sisters, Mrs. Edna Moore, and Mrs. Maedean Jenkins, both of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Louise Romley, Carthage, Miss., and Mrs. Sue Peden, Natchez, Miss.; six brothers, Olen, Guthrie; Olen and Buddy; both of Carthage, Miss.; Truman, Madden, Miss.; David, Natchez, Miss.; and James A., Kosciusko, Miss., and three grandchildren.
