William Sharp, a resident of the Casa Grande Valley for 35 years, died Wednesday at his home in Stanfield. He was 67.

Memorial services have been scheduled for Monday at 10 a.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church in Casa Grande, with the Rev. Willie Hartfield officiating. Burial will be at the Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Sharp was born Oct. 1, 1910 in Crockett, Texas. He married Theria Johnson in 1930 in Texas and moved to Arizona in 1943.

Survivors include his wife; sons: Al Sharp, of Los Angeles, CA, Ulysses Sharp, of Casa Grande, Fred Sharp, of Mesa, Haywood Sharp, of Ontario, CA, and Andy Sharp, of Hollywood, CA; daughters: Virginia Jackson and Denny Spencer, both of Los Angeles, CA, and Veoria Givens, of Phoenix; brothers: Oscar Sharp, of Seattle, WA, and Charles Sharp, of Palestine, CA; sisters: Oda Lee Ware, of Lovelace, TX, and Elvester Gilmore, of Houston, TX; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cole and Maud Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
