Alice Wright Dillon, 86, of Rocky Mount, Va., passed away on Monday, November 2, 2009. She was born on April 19, 1923, a daughter of the late Eubie E. and Sallie J. Dillon. She is also preceded in death by sisters, Doris Dillon and Nadine Fuller; and brothers, William (Flap) and Frank Dillon. Surviving are her nephews, Lloyd Wayne Wright, Tim Whitis and wife, Debbie, Greg Dillon and wife, Debra, and Mark Dillon; nieces, Tracy Dillon, Teresa Hall, and Tammy Dillon; special great-nephew and family, Steve, Laurie, Sydney and Sam Wright; a number of other nieces, nephews, greatnieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Addie Dillon. Graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2009, from the Dillon Family Cemetery, Gilford Road, Wirtz, with the Rev. Rick Poland officiating. Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount, Va.
