Mr. Squires was born Feb. 16, 1893, in Salt Lake City, a son of Walter and Mary Openshaw Squires. He attended local schools and New York University. On Aug. 24, 1921, he married Lou Archer here.
A veteran of World War I, he served overseas with the 148th Field Artillery. He was a member of the Ambassador Athletic Club.
Survivors include his widow; the son, Richard Squires, Washington, D.C.; a daughter, Mrs. William E. (Nancy) Jones; four grandchildren; a brother and five sisters, Leslie Squires, Mrs. George Pursell, Mrs. S.C. Smith, Mrs. J.C. Haymond, Mrs. John Woody and Mrs. John Hendricks, all of Salt Lake City.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

SQUIRES ~ Funeral services for Frank Wallace Squires will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 E. South Temple. Friends may call at the mortuary Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. and Thursday prior to services. Interment at the Salt Lake City Cemetey under direction of Larkin Mortuary.
