Obituary - The Baytown Sun, Wednesday, 1 Sep 1965:
Rites Held for Baytonian, 70

Funeral services for Andrew Jackson Ferguson, 70, of 802 E. Hunnicutt, will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Earthman Chapel.

A retired vegetable market owner, Ferguson had lived here 25 years. He died at 3 a.m. Wednesday in a Houston hospital.

Survivors are a son, A. J. Ferguson Jr of Houston; a daughter, Mrs. Norma Ruth Hunt of Rosharon, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. O. H. Wright of Baytown, Mrs. J. D. Kuebler of Dayton and Mrs. Gertrude Parker of Houston; a brother, Earl Ferguson of Castorville, Calif. Also surviving are seven grandchildren.

The Rev. A. L. Jordan, pastor will officiate in services. Burial will be in Cedar Crest Cemetery.
