The daughter of William Jennet and Martha C. "Mattie" (Duvall) Hassell.
Her parents are buried in Fields Chapel Cemetery.
She first married George Alva Denson. He died 19 January 1931 and is buried in Strong Memorial Park. She shares a stone with her second husband, Lyman Gilbert Bell, who she married on 11 Nov 1933 in Anderson Co, TX. Nora died at her home in Palestine, TX. She was survived by her husband, Lyman; father; two sons, Norris Denson and Donald J. Denson of Palestine; one daughter, Vivian Denson of Palestine; eight brother, Floyd Hassell and Alec Hassell of Palestine, Roy Hassell of Lufkin, Fred Hassell of Dallas, Lon Hassell of Jacksonville, H. D. Hassell of Tyler, J. W. and Marion Hassell of Cleburne; two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Hulan of Slocum and Mrs. W. I. Byrd of San Antonio. Her obituary appeared in the Palestine Daily Herald, Wednesday, 24 July 1940.
